How to adopt a horse

The SPCA has lots of amazing horses available for adoption. Learn more!
- Fill out an adoption application to help us match you with a potential new horse.
- Call or visit our barn to meet our adoptable horses and discuss a match that fits your lifestyle.
- If we find a match, we may request a premise inspection to see where your new horse will be kept.
- The SPCA will provide Veterinary information, training and health background, and lots more on your new horse.
- Once you're ready to officially adopt, please plan on spending approximately 20-30 minutesat the SPCA to complete your adoption.
- Take your new lifelong family member home (we can help arrange trailering, if needed)
How Much Does it Cost to Adopt a Horse?
Our horse adoption rates vary depending on the horse's age, temparament, ability, etc. Our adoption fees are very reasonable and are an amazing value.
