Neutermania

Neutermania

Featuring $10 Cat Neuters all year thanks to a generous grant from Newman's Own Foundation.

Neutermania is back! In our continued effort to reduce pet overpopulation and the tragedy of euthanasia, The SPCA is continuing Neutermania by offering $10 cat neuter surgeries.

Neutering also prevents testicular cancer and reduces spraying behavior, fighting and injuries, and the spread of feline immunodeficiency virus, and other diseases.

We are currently restricting surgeries to neuters to prevent as many litters as possible. Male felines typically range farther from home and can impregnate multiple females.

“Neutermania” offers the same, high-quality professional care as all SPCA clinic surgeries. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment for your male cat or kitten at least four months old, please call The SPCA at 831-264-5400.

SPCA PET MEALS PROGRAM

A beloved pet is often the primary source of comfort for people with medical or age-related challenges. Yet for those who are physically impaired or on fixed incomes, it can be a constant struggle to obtain proper nutrition for themselves and their pets. The SPCA for Monterey County's doors are open to all animals in need. If you need to surrender your pet, you may bring him or her to The SPCA on any day of the week (Saturdays and Sundays included) from 8 am to 5:00 pm, including holidays.
