Volunteer

Our hundreds of volunteers donate thousands of hours every year. They provide essential support to our programs and services that help all animals in need. The goal of the volunteer program is to support the mission of The SPCA for Monterey County through dedicated individuals giving their time and enhancing their skills to serve our community.
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities. Please click here for a list of available volunteer positions.
Volunteer positions usually require a commitment of three months working one shift per week for three to four hours. Limited exceptions may be given to volunteer every other week on a regular schedule for students, military, or other special circumstances. Before submitting a volunteer application, please read our Available SPCA Volunteer Opportunities section. Specify the volunteer opportunity you are interested in when applying.
