Katherine Sanderlin, Donor Relations Coordinator
Email: [email protected]
Katherine Sanderlin was born in Florida, went to graduate school in Georgia, and then moved to New York City. In New York, she worked at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School for 14 years, where she taught human rights, social justice and responsible philanthropy to elementary school students.
Katherine relocated to the West Coast in 2016 with her wife Judi, their teenage daughter, Kimmie, two dogs (Ares and Stella) and three cats (Cassiopeia, Saggio and Winston McHufflepuff). An ardent animal-lover whose life has been forever changed by the cats and dogs she has cared for over the years, Katherine is thrilled to have found a new home at The SPCA for Monterey County.
In her earlier years, Katherine was intensively involved in theatre; she was involved in more than 150 theatrical productions and put herself through college performing voice-overs, industrial films and some fairly mediocre television. Katherine thrives when connecting with people through their passions and sense of purpose; she is constantly inspired by the compassion and generosity of the donors at The SPCA.
