Kennedy is the Community Educator at SPCA Monterey County. Kennedy joined the SPCA in 2025. She grew up in Winters, California and she has spent the last 4 years in Santa Barbara, where she received a BA in Environmental Studies and a minor in Educational Studies. Her experience as the School and Community Programs Specialist at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Sea Center, and her background as an educator with the Santa Barbara Zoo, has equipped her with a deep understanding of community education, and a passion for assuring compassionate treatment of all animals through empathy and connective educational experiences.
She has grown up supporting her local animal shelters through fostering, sponsoring, and making handmade enrichment for shelter pets. Kennedy is excited to bring my formal and informal teaching experiences to the SPCA to encourage our communities to show compassion, kindness, and respect for animals and others.
