Puppy Play n Learn 
Saturdays at 9am at Pet Food Express in Carmel 
(1) 1 hour class is $40, 
(4) 1 hour classes $140, 
(8) 1 hour classes are $240. 

For puppies starting ages 2 - 4 months old. 

Puppy Play n Learn is new type of class enrollment with a flexible, rolling format that allows you to jump in and get started right away (as space allows) instead of waiting for a new session to begin. Join when you are ready rather than following a rigid, start-to-finish schedule. Need to miss a class? No problem! Just reserve another week! 

Every new enrollment includes our Puppyhood Survival Guides - our custom socialization and class booklets - to guide you through your puppy’s early months with confidence. 

Over the full 8 weeks, we’ll cover all the puppy essentials, including housetraining, mouthing, body language, and building focus. You’ll also learn key skills like Sit, Down, Touch, Walking, Four on the Floor for polite greetings, and Come—plus how to prevent common challenges like resource guarding. Best of all, your puppy will get valuable socialization time playing with other pups in class. 

You can attend up to 8 classes, to be completed by the time your puppy is 6 months old (or with instructor approval). Choose what works best for you: a single class, a 4-class pack, or an 8-class pack.

Puppy Level 1 :
Saturday: $200 for (6) one hour classes.

For puppies starting class ages 2 - 4 months old

Start your new puppy off on the right paw! This six week class is for owners with a new puppy who are needing experience guidance on basics of puppy care and training. During class we discuss behavior, learn manners, have social time for puppies, and help you survive puppyhood! 

Puppies under 4 months old must have at minimum their first two Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella (kennel cough) shots to participate in Puppy Level 1 or Puppy Play n Learn. Email vaccinations to train@spcamc.org. Sign up here.

Puppy Level 2 at SPCA: Now Offering Sunday Classes!
Saturday: $200 for (6) one hour classes.
Sunday: $200 for (6) one hour classes.
Location: SPCA's Training Center

For puppies starting class ages 5 to 7 months old

This is a fun class focusing on positive reinforcement, safe handling, socialization, and the prevention of problem behaviors. We will go over housetraining, mouthiness, socialization, impulse control, as well as basic manners such as sit, down, wait, and much more!

There are no prerequisites for this class but your puppy must be comfortable in the presence of other puppies. If you are having problems with socialization, please call us 831-264-5422, and we will find a solution that works for you and your puppy!

Puppies must be fully vaccinated (DHPP and rabies).Email your vaccination records before the first day of class to train@spcamc.org. Sign up here.

Puppy Socials: 
Sunday: $15/sessions for (1) one hour class, 5 and 10 pack pricing available.
Location: SPCA's Agility Yard

Refunds are issued prior to the first class of a course and up to 24 hours after the first class (minus a $25.00 processing fee). We understand if something unexpected makes it impossible for you to continue with one or more of the classes, and we will do our best to accommodate you in an upcoming course. If you decide to stay in class, but cannot attend the virtual classes, we will still send you the homework.
