SPCA Disaster Response

SPCA DISASTER RESPONSE & HOW YOU CAN HELP
The SPCA is currently sheltering pets evacuated from the Colorado Fire in Big Sur. We are also providing free pet food and supplies to anyone who needs help when evacuated.Â
-
If you are given orders to evacuate, please take your animals with you. If you are under evacuation warnings, we strongly recommend moving your pets early - it is easier to evacuate during the calm daytime than in the dark under stress.
-
If you need assistance with evacuations or sheltering, please call us during the day at 831-264-5402. If you are self-evacuating with animals, please call us so we can help direct you to safe sheltering.
-
If you are evacuating and can keep your pets with you, we can help with pet food and supplies. Please also visit our list of pet-friendly hotels and motels.Â
