You can adopt the love of your life at SPCA Monterey County during California Adopt-A-Pet Day on Saturday, June 6th! During the event, adoption fees will be waived thanks to the generosity of SPCA donors. 

More than 135 California shelters are participating in this state-wide event. Locally, that includes SPCA Monterey County and Hitchcock Road Animal Services.

SPCA Monterey County is located at 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway, across from WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.  Adoption hours are 11-5. No holds will be available during the event. We recommend arriving early! If you have a dog at home and plan to adopt a new dog, please bring your dog with you so they can meet. 

Not ready to adopt? We also offer Doggy Day Out, where you can take shelter dogs on fun outings and Foster to Adopt, where you can take an adoptable pet home to see if they are a good match for your family. You can also donate to help rescued pets at spcamc.org/donate.
